“I was referred to Brett Cortez to do my home inspection and he did a great job. I thought the job I was giving him was as easy as they come. It was a condo in a well-respected building and the specific condo was just totally renovated. I met Brett near the end of the inspection and it was a good thing I hired him. First, he met with the building manager and confirmed the building itself and all of the common areas and common systems were in great shape. What I didn’t expect was that the total renovation that the owner did to the condo itself was done with less than stellar workmanship. Loose kitchen cabinets, electrical receptacles that were not properly anchored, shower arm that was installed crooked, toilets that were not anchored to the floor properly and double pane windows that had broken seals and were fogged between the panes. He found it all. He was professional and thorough and I would use him again in a second when and if I ever need another home inspection.”
